Abstract – Colour and Shadows

Bright shapes are cast over with grey, so that half of each form falls into shade and half stays lit. The overlaps darken where they cross, building depth out of nothing more than layering. It behaves like light moving through a room over the course of an afternoon, caught at the moment the shadows begin to grow long.

A good pick for a west-facing living room or a wall that already catches the late sun. It suits people who notice the way a room changes through the day and want a picture that echoes it.
